Understanding Quality Care
The two courses featured in this portfolio example are a part of a larger learning series reflective of my time at Optum. This work sample showcases my ability to breakdown complicated concepts into an easy to understand learning module for a clinical audience.
The work in these examples, excludes any protected and confidential information and focuses on information that can be readily searched using publicly available sources.
AI and Instructional Design
This learning module is a thought experiment on artificial intelligence and the role it plays in instructional design. This course introduces budgeting—a skill essential to everyday life however it is designed by a computer, leveraging tools like Colossyan for AI-generated video avatars, Google's Gemini to create content. This is a thought piece on the roll of AI in instructional design.
Custodial Know How

This learning module is a reimagined version of a project I completed during my time as a freelance instructional designer.
Built in Articulate Storyline, it demonstrates my expertise through interactive features like slide layers, markers, and states, while also showcasing my voice-over narration and audio editing skills to deliver engaging, accessible training for custodial professionals.
Exploring Vyond and Articulate
This learning module highlights my work as a freelance instructional designer, partnering with a small insurance company to create an engaging and cost-effective eLearning course. Using Articulate Storyline 360 and Vyond, I developed a training that balanced instructional quality with budget constraints.
While proprietary content and voiceovers have been removed from this example, it showcases my ability to use Vyond animations to enhance learner engagement and deliver professional-grade training within a modest budget.
Breast Cancer Basics

This interactive eLearning lesson was developed to raise awareness about breast cancer and to promote breast self-examination as a proactive method of early detection. Designed for a general audience, the course combines evidence-based information with engaging visuals and intuitive navigation to empower learners with knowledge and confidence.
This project reflects a commitment to public health education through thoughtful instructional design, blending scientific accuracy with user-centered design principles
